Membership in the Bichon Frisé Club of Canada, Inc. runs from July 1st in the current year until June 30th of the following year.

The Bichon Frise Club of Canada, Inc. requires all new members to become 'ASSOCIATE' members and to retain that status for a period of three consecutive years. Upon completion of the three year period, a member has the option of either continuing as an "Associate" member or applying for 'ORDINARY' membership.

Application for Ordinary Membership requires the sponsorship of three 'Ordinary' Members of the B.F.C.C. in good standing.

An Application for Ordinary Membership will be forwarded to a member by the Secretary of the B.F.C.C. when that member is eligible to apply for advancement to Ordinary Membership. Upon successful review by the Board of Directors, Ordinary Membership may be granted.

Ordinary Members have full voting privileges and may hold office. Officers and Directors must be Canadian residents and members in good standing of The Canadian Kennel Club.
